Consultation profile

Daniel Vamplew is a multidisciplinary consultant and founder specialising in strategy, systems improvement, business development, digital innovation and cross-sector problem solving.

His background spans construction, specialist waterproofing, property services, entrepreneurship, technology development, social-impact ventures and lived experience-led policy work. This breadth enables him to assess organisations and projects from both an operational and strategic perspective.

Daniel advises on business models, service design, organisational systems, stakeholder engagement, emerging technology, AI-enabled workflows and new venture development. He is particularly effective in environments where problems cut across traditional organisational boundaries and require a combination of commercial judgement, practical implementation and systems thinking.

As Founder and Executive Director of the National Lived Experience Commission, Daniel also works at the intersection of lived experience, evidence, government policy and system reform. His work focuses on converting frontline knowledge into structured intelligence that can inform better decisions, services and public policy.

His consulting approach is practical, analytical and implementation-focused. He works to move projects from concept through to clear strategy, operating model and execution.

How engagements are approached

Professional, practical and bounded.

Define the question

Every engagement starts with the policy, service, research or organisational decision that needs better understanding.

Protect the relationship

Scope, confidentiality, accessibility, remuneration and professional boundaries are discussed before work begins.

Apply the insight

Findings are connected to recommendations, implementation questions and the next decision the organisation can take.
